Watch | The Apprentice's cast and crew respond
Description
Trump's shady business dealings with lawyer Roy Cohn are depicted as the catalyst for his descent into darkness, making him his mentor in the ways of violence and corruption on Soap2Day. It's a relief, to be sure, that the movie never descended into sly, Adam McKay-esque satire, but it does have a lighthearted plot that revolves around Trump's fears as a man. Trump is seen inspecting his fluffier blonde hairstyle several times while trying to maintain a composed, self-assured demeanor as Roy guides him through the edgy world of political blackmail and opulent orgies. It's cleverly written in many respects, as the plot gradually develops the cheesy, fast-food-loving stereotype of today from a timid wannabe who feels like a real person to a bloviating kingpin who's had too much Kool-Aid.
